The TEC cited the "simple errors” in the information in its rejection letter. It stated that the information on the ads stating Benson purchased the ad spaces was impossible to read, and that it did not include a TEC Right-of-Way statement as required by law.
It is not clear if these errors are serious. The TEC did not respond to inquiries from reporters Wednesday.

The City's Sign Ordinance Is Unconstitutional
